Is following the speed limit now probable cause?

Noticed this line in the above article, “They explained that they were looking for a man who’d been evading police, and that they had been ‘confused’ why McDonald had been driving the speed limit, Rossio says.”

Apparently driving the speed limit is cause for suspicion by law enforcement now. Makes me nervous to not do flow of traffic with that attitude.

Makes sense. It seems in Portland very few follow the speed limit as it’s a city with few consequences for not following our laws, Now it’s gotten to the point where it is suspicious if you do (follow the law) LOL.

I’ve been hearing it for years. Lucky for officers that they haven’t tried that crap on me. They’d get an earful and a formal complaint.
