A week or two ago (late September 2021), they repainted the bike lane at the intersection of northbound Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway and Bertha, just before the Hillsdale strip mall. As far as I can tell, they’ve made it more dangerous for bikes intending to go straight. The “new” bike lane turns right before crossing Bertha. A driver intending to turn right onto Bertha either will not see a bike at all, or will assume that the bike is also turning right. This seems nuts. Who designs these things?
